NHS boys soccer plays at Canterbury Invite

The Noblesville boys soccer team finished with a win and a tie at the Canterbury Invite Saturday.
In their first game, the Millers defeated Northridge 1-0. The first half was played to a scoreless tie, despite Noblesville’s constant pressure and double-digit corner kick opportunities.
The Millers broke through with around 10 minutes left in the second half, as John Herron finished off a Tommy Gregory corner kick for the game winner.
Noblesville tied with Valparaiso 1-1 in its second game. Bryan Diaz scored the Millers’ goal on a long-range blast, but Noblesville conceded a breakaway goal in the second half.
Noblesville is now unbeaten in its last nine games, with seven wins and two ties in that stretch. The Millers are now 7-3-3 and play Lawrence Central on Thursday.
