Shortly before 3 a.m. on Friday, the Noblesville Fire Department (NFD) responded to an outside fire in Forest Park. The fire was first noticed by a motorist who saw the fire in the distance and called 9-1-1. The first units on scene reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the north end of a restroom building near the center of the park. The building was unoccupied and units were able to quickly bring the fire under control. No injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire is still underway.
