Rivet at the Library set to open with library this month

The Westfield Washington Public Library (WWPL) has chosen local favorite Rivet Coffee Bar & Roastery to operate the café in its new library building, set to open its doors to the public later this month.

Located just inside the main entrance of the new library building, the café will offer patrons a convenient spot to enjoy grab-and-go food and beverages while exploring the library’s extensive collection and various activities.

WWPL Executive Director Sheryl Sollars expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration.

“We are thrilled to partner with Rivet to provide our patrons with a welcoming café experience,” Sollars said. “Rivet’s commitment to quality and community aligns perfectly with our mission to enrich the lives of our visitors through education, entertainment, and engagement.”

Rivet Owner Allie Commons also shared her excitement about the opportunity.

“We are honored to join forces with the Westfield Washington Public Library to bring our passion for great coffee and delicious fare to library-goers,” Commons. “Our team is dedicated to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where patrons can relax and refuel as they enjoy all that the library has to offer.”

Rivet will share the same hours of operation as the library for the first month. After that, it will set hours that better reflect the community’s demand for service.
