The Crossroads Chapter of the National Charity League, Inc (NCL), has announced its annual Membership Drive and has begun accepting applications from women with daughters currently in sixth through ninth grade. The Crossroads Chapter is composed of 230 members who reside in Hamilton and Boone counties.
NCL is the nation’s most distinctive, well-respected mother-daughter membership organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. NCL Crossroads is the first NCL chapter in Indiana. In 2019-2020, NCL’s mother-daughter teams volunteered over 2,800 philanthropy hours for nonprofit organizations in the community, including Student Impact, Open Doors, Heart and Soul Clinic and Westfield Youth Assistance Program.
“Our chapter has allowed many mothers and daughters to interact with our local philanthropic partners and learn the importance of giving back to their community”, Chapter President Amanda Day-Ott said. “We look forward to welcoming new members into our Crossroads Chapter to continue to develop philanthropists and leaders.”
