Nancy Louise Tingle (Staples), 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2023, after a long and full life. She was born in Bedford, Ky., on April 22, 1942, to Johnnie Mae Staples. It was there she met the love of her life, Wilbur Tingle, whom she married on September 23, 1961.
Nancy retired from OneAmerica in Indianapolis. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, gardening, sewing, and reading Stephen King books. She was also known for her amazing cryptogram skills. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family. She doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and when it came to them every day was a ‘yes’ day.
She will be lovingly remembered by her family, which includes her daughters, Stella (Brian) McDole and Shelley (Ron) Lloyd; grandchildren, Brian (Britni) McDole, Shelby (Zack) McDole, Brianne (John) Baute and Abigail (Jason) Schmidt; and her great-grandchildren, Elijah, Andrew, Caleb, Darby, Gwen, Mavis, Gabriel, Cooper, Auli, and Colin.
Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Johnnie; her brother, Forest Staples; and her husband, Wilbur.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:45 p.m., with services at 2:45 p.m., on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
