Hamilton County Coroner Jeff Jellison has announced the identification of a previously unknown person whose remains were recovered in 1996 from Fox Hollow Farm in Westfield – the former home of Herb Baumeister.
A human remain recovered from Fox Hollow Farm has matched a family reference sample that was submitted late last year and has been identified as Allen Livingston.
The identification of Livingston was the result of the dedication of many forensic experts working collaboratively in an effort to identify nearly 10,000 human remains recovered from Fox Hollow Farm.
Livingston was reported missing to the Indianapolis Police Department in 1993.
“I would like to thank the entire team of law enforcement and forensic specialist that have come together to support this effort,” Jellison said. “A special thanks goes to the hardworking people at the Indiana State Police Laboratory whose expertise in DNA led to the identification of Allen Livingston.”
