Murder Express returns in June

On recent murder mystery dinner train rides, the Big Caboose Players and the Nickel Plate Express have killed people in the 1920s and the 1980s. This June, someone dies in Hawaii and everybody gets lei’d!

The summertime luau party will definitely turn deadly. Who lives, who dies, and who dunnit?

Ride the rails instead of the waves as you enjoy Indiana’s scenic countryside and enjoy live music in Atlanta with The Stompers. Dinner for the evening will be prepared by 9th Street Bistro.

Special luau guests will exit the train for a buffet-service three-course dinner and music. Will there be a murder during dinner? If so, who did it? Guests will mingle and ask questions as they sleuth their way through finding out what happened.

After dinner, guests will board the train and head back towards Hobbs Station at Noblesville’s Forest Park while continuing to solve the evening’s mystery.

  • Kālua Pork: slow-cooked shredded pork topped with sesame seeds
  • Huli Huli Chicken: Hawaiian-Style barbecued chicken, marinated, grilled & sliced
  • Coconut-Braised Greens
  • Pineapple Slaw: shredded green & purple cabbage, pineapple & ginger in a creamy dressing topped with black sesame seeds
  • Hawaiian Mac Salad: elbow macaroni, carrots, scallion & hard-boiled egg mixed in a creamy dressing
  • Pineapple upside-down cake

Dress Code

Guests are encouraged to dress for a luau party. Have fun with it! A prize will be awarded to the best outfit of the night. You will be disappointed if you don’t dress the part.

Seating Options

  • Diamond Seating on the Duke Dining Car: The dining car offers social, 4-top booth seating. Individual tickets are sold as part of a 4-top. Taller or larger passengers should purchase tickets in the platinum seating for maximum comfort. Ages 21 and over.
  • Platinum Seating of private 4-top tables on The Reporter Lounge Car: Offers social, four-top table and chair seating. These offer a better choice for taller and larger passengers.
