Mulloy scores 31 in Carmel’s win over North Central

Carmel continued to roll in Metropolitan Conference play on Friday, as the Class 4A No. 2 Greyhounds swept past North Central 73-50 at the Panthers’ gym.
Carmel led 17-8 after the first quarter, then poured in 21 points in the second period to take a 38-19 lead at halftime. The Greyhounds added 22 points in the third quarter to clinch the game and move to 2-0 in MIC play.
John Michael Mulloy had an outstanding game, making 15 field goals on his way to 31 points. Mulloy also collected six rebounds and blocked two shots. Karsten Windlan added 11 points. Robert Fry pulled five rebounds, while Luke Heady dished out five assists.
Carmel is 6-0 overall and will play at New Albany tonight.
