Mulloy gets double-double in ‘Hounds win at New Castle

Carmel finished up a perfect week on Saturday with a 44-36 win at New Castle.
The Class 4A No. 2 Greyhounds trailed the Trojans 18-17 at halftime, but got the lead back in the third quarter, then outscored New Castle 16-10 in the fourth. John Michael Mulloy led the way, with a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds. Mulloy also blocked two shots.
Peter Suder added nine points and pulled six rebounds, with Andrew Owens also grabbing six rebounds.
Carmel is 14-1 and will play a Metropolitan Conference game at Lawrence North on Thursday.
