Noblesville bounced back from a first-quarter deficit to beat Mount Vernon 58-51 in a Thursday game at The Mill.
The Marauders led 16-11 after one period, but the Millers would outscore them in each of the next three quarters. Noblesville worked its way back to a 25-25 tie at halftime, then jumped ahead 40-35 after three periods.
Hunter Walston helped keep the Millers ahead in the fourth quarter, scoring all eight of his points during that period. Noblesville also had consistent scoring from Aaron Fine and Luke Almodovar, as both Millers scored at least four points in each quarter of the game.
Fine finished with 19 points, scoring six in the fourth, while Almodovar added 17 points. Justin Curry came off the bench in the second quarter and had five points.
Noblesville is 13-5 and plays Tuesday at Liberty Christian.
