Millers win HCC finale over Avon

Noblesville won its Hoosier Crossroads Conference finale on Friday, beating Avon 58-46 at the Orioles’ gym.
The Millers had a solid first half, leading 15-10 after one quarter and 31-20 at halftime. Noblesville extended its lead to 42-28 after three periods, then added 16 points in the fourth to keep its lead above double digits.
Luke Almodovar had a tremendous game, scoring 22 points and pulling eight rebounds. E.J. Smith added 14 points; both he and Almodovar made three 3-pointers. Noah Harris scored 10 points and collected six rebounds, while David Lloyd had nine rebounds to go with eight points. Josh Durham pulled five rebounds.
The Millers finished HCC play 2-5 and are 10-9 overall. Noblesville hosts Hamilton Heights tonight.
