The Noblesville girls basketball team finished 2019 on a winning note, overwhelming Roncalli 84-34 Monday night at The Mill.
The Millers outscored the Rebels by a comfortable margin in each quarter, leading 21-6 after the first period and 45-16 at halftime. Noblesville finished the game with a 20-point fourth quarter.
Ashlynn Shade scored 27 points, followed by Mallory Miller with 23 and Kaitlyn Shoemaker with 13. All three players made multiple 3-pointers: Shade drained five triples, with Miller making four and Shoemaker three. Jayla Jones also had a 3-pointer, giving Noblesville a total of 13 for the game.
Anna Kiser collected eight rebounds, with Wood pulling five. The Millers outrebounded Roncalli 34-22 for the game. Noblesville had 21 assists for the game; Miller and Kiser both dished out five with Shade handing out four. Shade also made seven steals.
The Millers are 6-10 and are back at The Mill Saturday afternoon to host Martinsville.
