Noblesville lost a tough game at Marion on Tuesday, 69-68.
It was a tight contest throughout, with the Giants leading 17-14 after the first quarter. The Millers came back to go ahead 30-28 at halftime; Luke Almodovar scored seven points in the second period.
Marion took the lead back in the third quarter, which finished with the Giants up 47-45. Noblesville kept up with Marion in the fourth period, with Noah Harris scoring 10 points during that quarter, but the Millers fell just short.
Harris scored 21 points and also led the rebounds with six. He was one of five Noblesville players in double figures: Almodovar scored 13, Durham and E.J. Smith both added 11 and Aaron Fine contributed 10 points. Durham also dished out four assists.
The Millers are 9-8 for the season and host Brownsburg on Friday in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
