Millers fall to Brownsburg

Noblesville gave a strong challenge to Brownsburg on Friday before the host Bulldogs came back in the middle quarters, and eventually won 50-46 in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
The Millers led 16-10 after the first period, with EJ Smith and Alex Hunt both scoring eight points. Brownsburg came back to cut Noblesville’s lead to 24-23 by halftime, then went ahead 37-33 after three quarters. The Millers played even with the Bulldogs in the fourth quarter, with Smith and Hunt both going 4-for-4 from the free-throw line, but Brownsburg held on for the win.
Smith finished with 18 points, including three 3-pointers, while Hunt scored 16. Jordan Gadis led the rebounds with four.
Noblesville is 1-5 in conference play and 10-10 overall. The Millers will return home tonight to host Fort Wayne Wayne, with a 7:30 p.m. varsity tipoff.
