The Noblesville boys golf team won a dual meet with Lawrence Central 149-208 Wednesday at Forest Park.
Jacob Deakyne was the meet medalist with an even-par 35. Keenan Bowen carded a 37, with Reed Murray scoring 38. Other scores were Joe Whallon 39, Chris Scheib 39, Jaxon Stutz 41, Shalik Gupta 43 and Gabe Smith 44.
“Jacob has been working very hard and his scores the last couple of matches have been reflective of that hard work,” said Millers coach Gary Sewell.
“We had a couple of younger guys step up tonight and played very well,” said Sewell. “Keenan Bowen was -2 after his first three holes and even though he didn’t finish the way he would have liked still was able to bring home a good score. Reed Murray played steady all day and as it turned out we used his score tonight.”
