The Noblesville gymnastics team finished fifth at the 10-team Connersville Invitational on Saturday.
The Millers had solid scores in the midst of tough competition at the meet. Ronnie VanBuskirk placed 10th in the uneven bars with a score of 8.20.
This is also Ronnie’s highest bar score of the season, and possibly a career high for her too,” said Noblesville coach Jody Ramey. “I was very proud of Ronnie. She has beautiful form on Bars and when done with good form and great rhythmic flow she is able to score high!”
The Millers’ top score of the day was an 8.525 from Esma Taylor.
“We did well on all other events, but the competition was steep on Saturday, which helps us know what we need to work on for Sectionals,” said Ramey.
