Dear Editor:
I became acquainted with Chris when she came on as Jackson Township’s new Trustee four years ago in my duties with several nonprofit organizations in our community. These organizations focused on the individual needs of members of our community who needed health care, dental care, food, housing, counseling and other needs that surface when one has little resources to live on.
My contacts with Chris were natural because the office she holds focuses on like needs in our community. I find Chris is genuinely interested in the needs of the members of our community, that she has a laser focus on acting immediately to find solutions for people’s needs, with limited resources available to do the job.
I have found she thinks “out of the box” to get things done in an economical and prudent way, motivating others with like resources, and makes decisions after careful consideration of factors before acting, while allowing a trust factor to be built between participants. These are qualities we all look for in friends, neighbors, workmates and certainly individuals in an office of public trust.
