Michael Paul Ratterman, 60, Fishers, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, surrounded by his family at his home. He was born on December 15, 1958 to Oscar and Shirley (Hoellman) Ratterman in Saint Louis, Mo.
Michael was a devoted husband and father. He worked as a mechanical engineer and was an active member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church. Michael was an avid sports fan who enjoyed golf, football and hockey. A very humble and selfless man, Michael loved being outdoors and feeding the birds. Vacations, cooking and time spent with his family was what he cherished the most.
Michael is survived by his wife, Rachelle Ratterman; parents, Oscar and Shirley Ratterman; daughters, Erin Ratterman and Cara Ratterman; and sisters, Judith (Robert) Shipp and Catherine (Scott) Lehman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road, Fishers, with Rev. Patrick Click officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
