Michael “Gordo” Long, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. He was born July 23, 1956 in Lafayette, IN to Bill and Lois Long.
Gordo was a wood artisan and often focused on restoration of older homes.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Bill; older brother, David; and great-nephew, Callaway.
He is survived by his mother, Lois Long of Lafayette; sister, Jeralyn (David) Faris of Delphi; brothers, Patrick (Tere) Long of Noblesville and Jim Long of Indianapolis; 21 nieces and nephews and 42 great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Reformed Presbyterian Church, 1723 S. 9th St., Lafayette, on Monday, June 26 at 7 p.m.
