Chris Jensen, who recently announced his candidacy for Noblesville mayor, will hold a meet and greet for community members and their families from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27 at Federal Hill Commons near the ‘Green Room.’ Community members are invited to join Jensen and his family for free food, giveaways and an opportunity to discuss Noblesville issues.

Jensen’s goal for the event is to meet community members and hear their thoughts, visions and ideas for Noblesville’s next chapter. Other key community groups and leaders will be in attendance.

“As we head into Noblesville’s next chapter, I want to listen to what people have to say. This community meet and greet will be the perfect opportunity for us to come together as a city. We’ll enjoy some food and have a lot of fun,” Jensen said.

Jensen is a lifelong Noblesville resident and the current Noblesville Common Council President. He has served on the finance, parks, economic development and roads/engineering committees over the last two years.

Prior to his current position at Lochmueller Group as a Client Service Manager, Jensen served many years in the office of former Lt. Governor Becky Skillman as Special Assistant and Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. Jensen was also Executive Director of the 2016 Indiana Bicentennial Commission.

Locally, Jensen is the Noblesville Common Council President and serves on the board of the Noblesville High School Alumni Association and Nickel Plate Arts. Jensen and his wife, Julie, are volunteers and members at Grace Church in Noblesville. Julie is a teacher. They are both Butler University graduates and are parents to CJ, Vivian and Hank.
