Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen has endorsed At-Large City Councilor Darren Peterson for his re-election campaign.

“Darren has demonstrated excellent leadership skills, having served as both Vice President and President of the City Council,” Mayor Jensen said. “I fully endorse his candidacy for re-election. Darren is committed to the residents he represents, and he consistently puts in the effort and dedication required to get the job done. Darren’s experience as a long-term Noblesville business owner and architect offers a valuable and distinctive perspective to the council.”

For the last four years, Peterson has led economic development initiatives in Noblesville and navigated the more than $1 billion in new private investment in the city, all while working hard to preserve the history and character of Noblesville.

Peterson also serves on the Plan Commission, Architectural Review Board, Council Finance Committee, and Downtown District Committee. He is the founder and President of Peterson Architecture, a full service architectural and planning firm that was founded in downtown Noblesville over 25 years ago.

Locally, Peterson has been the board President of Nickel Plate Arts for the last five years and current board President of Keep Noblesville Beautiful. He has been the driving force behind activating under-utilized spaces, creating events that celebrate the community, expanding arts programming, and executing several successful events and projects in Noblesville.
