Matha “Matt” Fugate, 88, Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on June 14, 1931 to Tom and Margaret (Bush) Fugate in Ned, Ky.
Matt proudly served in the United States Army. Before his retirement, Matt worked as a supervisor for Firestone for 32 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rosemary Fugate; sons, Tom Fugate and Terry Fugate; daughter, Cherylene Cottrill; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lizzie Hall and Ellen Redd; and brother, Pearl Fugate.
Services will be held at noon on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with Pastor Mitchell Haynes officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
