Martha B. Gascho, 86, Noblesville, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. She was born on July 12, 1936, to Clarence and Eunice (Whitmore) Gascho in Noblesville.
Martha graduated as valedictorian of the Noblesville High School Class of 1954. She received a master’s degree in English at Butler University, where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega. Martha taught high school English for 12 years while pursuing a law degree at Indiana University. After graduating, she worked as an attorney for Webb Law Firm, and then started her own practice.
She was a long-term member of the Noblesville First United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Hamilton County Historical Society and at one time served as its president. Other organizations she was involved with include DAR, AAUW, Literary Club, and the Noblesville Cemetery Commission.
Martha is survived by her sisters, Linda Ham and Susan Martin; their children, Mo Frencham (Jenni), Christopher Martin, and Jennifer Deer (Christopher); and the Deer children, James and Jacob.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Norman Ham and John Martin.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with services at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. Burial will follow at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
