March 9, 1942 – November 3, 2023
Marshall D. Noel, 81, Fishers, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Hamilton Trace of Fishers. He was born on March 9, 1942, to Howard and Doris (Brown) Noel in New Castle, Ind.
Marshall graduated from Spiceland High School and Purdue University where he was a member of FarmHouse Fraternity where he made friendships that lasted his lifetime. As they all married and started families, they continued their brotherhood. Family trips, special events and proud moments were always shared between the men.
He proudly served as a captain in the United States Army and was a Company Commander in Germany and Vietnam.
Marshall married Annie Newkirk in 1964. They explored Germany together for three years seeing the sites while Marshall served our country. They formerly lived in Marion, Ind., and moved to Noblesville in 1978.
Marshall worked in sales for Kiger and Co. and Michigan School Service. He worked his last 20 years as a Regional Sales Manager for Draper Inc. Marshall served as past President of the Marion Metro Exchange Club and Noblesville Kiwanis Sunrisers. He volunteered as a transporter for Riverview Health for 13 years and also volunteered for Rehab Equipment Link.
Marshall was a member of Noblesville First Christian Church and served almost every position from moderator to dishwasher in the church during his 40+ year membership. He enjoyed watching all Noblesville high school sports, his favorite being anything Andrew or Ellie were playing.
Marshall is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Annie Noel; son, Scott (Sarah) Noel; and four grandchildren whom he absolutely adored, Andrew Noel, Ellie Noel, Kendall Keyton, and Nolan Keyton. What a huge presence and gift he was to his family. He loved so hard and led by example and character in everything he did. His smile could change your day and light up a room.
