Mark F. Uchida IV, 52, Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at home. He was born on January 7, 1966 to Mark Frederick and Rita (Munday) Uchida III in Urbana, Ill.
Mark was a network engineer for Angie’s List. He was a graduate of Butler University, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, and was a member of Grace Church in Noblesville. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, golfing and traveling – especially to the Caribbean and Ireland, and Butler basketball games; but his greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Ann Uchida; brother, Paul (Trish) Uchida; sister, Mary (John Leahey) Uchida; aunts and uncles, Dick Clark and Mary Munday, Nancy and Bob Bellus, Dick and Anne Munday and Ken and Bonnie Uchida; nieces and nephews, Amy (Jack) Hough, Jennifer (Chris) Holcomb, Sean Wilson, Blair (Rachel) Wilson, Ali (Brian) Wells, Jon Uchida and Kate Uchida; brothers-in-law, Doug (Jayne Ann) Wilson and John (Cheryl) Wilson; five great-nephews and eight cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mark (Helen) Uchida II and Adlai S. (Dorothy) Munday; and one cousin.
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Grace Church, 5504 E. 146th St. in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m.
In honor of Mark’s love for shorts and ‘anything Butler’, his family would like to encourage everyone to wear their favorite shorts and/or Butler gear to his services. This is NOT a joke!
