Noblesville Schools has announced Mark Booth will no longer serve as Director of Special Education after being disciplined for a social media post published on his personal Facebook page.
The post was a photo of Donald Trump with a caption that referred to Trump as “special needs.”
After learning of the social media post, Noblesville Schools issued a statement that said, “The post was unacceptable and clearly exhibited a serious lack of judgment.”
Booth’s new role in the school district will be analytical compliance. Booth served his position as special education director since 2004.
Erin Rood will serve as interim special education director until a permanent replacement is chosen.
