Margaret Stansbury McClelland of Indianapolis passed away March 10, 2024. She was born on December 11, 1932, in Mount Pleasant, Mich., to the late Raymond and Mary (Harrell) Stansbury.
Her children, Barry (Pam), Sandra (John Batcha), Darryl (Anne Marie) and four grandchildren survive her. Preceding her in death besides her parents were her husband of 58 years, Paul; and two sisters, Myrtle and Nyla.
She graduated from George Washington High School and attended Purdue University. Margaret retired from the Lawrence Township Schools Administration Center in 1995 after 24 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salvation Army, WFYI Channel 20 PBS, or a charity of donor’s choice.
There will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary.
