Margaret Ellen Rosser, 96, Carmel, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at her home. She was born on February 4, 1929, to Edward and Bertha (Elliott) Krampe in Brazil, Ind.
Margaret was a faithful member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church and volunteered with the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, quilt guild, and braille ministry. She shared many blessings with her husband Jim who were married just shy of 60 years before his passing in 2021. They enjoyed traveling, Broadway shows, and visiting friends near and far. What brought her the most joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Mark) Lawler and Sally Neal; grandchildren, Eric (Diana) Lawler, Anna (Zach) Davis, Claire Lawler, Kathleen and Robert Neal; great-grandson Leo Davis; and her nieces and nephew, Karen (Bruce) Madinger, Richard (Bonnie) Krampe, and Jane (Rob) Gottsch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; brother, Don Krampe; sister-in-law, Millie Krampe; son-in-law, Robert Neal; grandson, Thomas Lawler; and her nephew, Steve Krampe.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m., with services at 10 a.m., on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Cornerstone Lutheran Church, 4850 E. Main St., Carmel. Margaret will be laid to rest next to her husband, Jim, at Clearview Cemetery in Brazil, Ind.
