The Hamilton County Chorus, The Silvernotes, provides a $500 music scholarship every year in hopes to further the education of a student who wants to incorporate music into his or her professional life.
To be eligible for the $500 scholarship the student must be a graduating senior from a Hamilton County school with a C or better average and must either major or minor in music while at college.
There is an application to be completed along with a written essay on why music is important in your life. Applicants must also have a sealed recommendation from a teacher.
