Many new exhibits at Carmel Gallery Walk this weekend

Come and celebrate summer with “Chairs of a Different Color” this Saturday. Students with Carmel High School’s TechHounds program have been working over the last several months designing, building and painting Adirondack chairs. Several local businesses have sponsored chairs including Pedcor, Teresa Chapman – State Farm, Sherwin Williams and the City of Carmel. The TechHounds were mentored by Kim Greene of Carmel Art on Main and Amanda Wallace Mathis of Indiana Artisan. Attendees will be able to vote on their favorite chair for the People’s Choice Award during the Gallery Walk.

Dine at one of your favorite local eateries then stroll through the beautiful new exhibits at nine different galleries. Begin your evening by picking up a Scavenger Hunt Clue Sheet at All Things Carmel for your chance to win great prizes. The Gallery Walk takes place from 5 to 9 p.m.

Special gallery exhibits will be featured throughout the Gallery Walk including:

  • CCA Gallery features Colors of Summer with John Salamone and Linda Wesolowski throughout the month of June. The public is invited to an artist reception during the Gallery Walk from 6 to 8:30 p.m. 111 W. Main St., #135)
