As the City of Fishers considers the development of a community and recreation center, city leaders want to hear from residents on how an indoor facility could best serve the community.
The potential facility would not only serve as a location for sport and recreation, but it would also aim to fill broader community needs, including those related to art and culture.
The survey is part of Mayor Scott Fadness’ launch of a task force to investigate and determine the needs for a community and recreational facility. Fadness has appointed Fishers City Councilor Todd Zimmerman as chair of the task force. Community stakeholders representing youth sports, arts and culture, and community groups have been appointed by Councilor Zimmerman as part of the task force.
