Presented by Nickel Plate Express, these themed rides offer an Easter experience complete with an onboard storyline, treats and a visit with the Easter Bunny. During the 75-minute Easter Express, passengers help the conductor track down Farmer Brown, a mischievous stowaway looking for his missing eggs. Along the way, kids receive complimentary “bunny juice” lemonade and bunny grahams, with activity sheets and interactive moments throughout the ride.
The Easter Express travels along the historic Nickel Plate Railroad through Cicero and Arcadia, crossing Morse Reservoir before returning to Hobbs Station in Noblesville. Train rides are scheduled for:
- Saturday, April 12: noon, 2, and 4 p.m.
- Sunday, April 13: noon and 2 p.m.
- Saturday, April 19: noon, 2, and 4 p.m.
Tickets start at $25 for standard seating, with premium table seating options available. Tickets can be purchased at NickelPlateExpress.com.
The Bunny Brunch, taking place at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, offers a longer 90-minute experience that includes a springtime breakfast and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
“Easter is one of our favorite rides of the year,” said Emily Reynolds, Executive Director of Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad. “The Bunny Brunch and Easter Express give families a chance to make memories, share some laughs and enjoy the magic of spring on a moving train.”
