Main Street Productions offers youth improv classes

If you are a junior high or high school student and would like to learn about improv or develop your improv skills, join Main Street Productions for a nine-week course.

This Second City Chicago-style course is taught by experienced theatre instructor, artistic and technical director, Ms. Melanie Elicker.

Intended for students in grades 7 through 12, these classes will take place in the upstairs classroom of the Basile Westfield Playhouse, 220 N. Union St. Classes begin Oct. 5 and run each Saturday through Nov. 30 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The cost is $100 per student. Students should bring clothes they can comfortably move around in as well as something to record notes.
