Dear Editor:
Sally and I want to thank Riverview Hospital, the doctors and the staff for the outstanding treatment we received there during Sally’s recent illness. For five days in intensive care and several days thereafter, plus two visits to the emergency room, we could not have received better treatment. It is truly a blessing for our community to have such a fine facility, but even more so such very caring caregivers.
We should also thank the hospital board and county elected officials for making the decision some 20 years or more ago to pursue the goal of a competitive, outstanding county hospital. We are all beneficiaries of such foresighted thinking and determined efforts to make Riverview the hospital we can be proud to have in our community.
