Louetta Darlene Cole, 78, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at home. She was born on August 8, 1938 to Edward and Helen (Edwards) Teets in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Louetta had worked as a nurse’s aid at Riverview Hospital, and for Dr. Poore, Dr. Lloyd, and Dr. Rouhana. She retired in 1993. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the ladies’ auxiliary of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed being with friends and dearly loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Phil Cole; four children, Floyd E. (Cathy) Carr, Pam M. (Andy) Newman, Marlene D. (Charles) Baxter and Barb Box; a step-daughter, Ruth Ann (Lee) Harbar; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Hornung; and a great-grandchild, Kayden Box.
Graveside services with burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Patriot’s Court at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 East Washington Street in Indianapolis, with Rev. Bill Burleson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice Foundation, 6400 Shafer Ct, #700 Rosemont, IL 60018.
