Last Thursday, more than 60 Hamilton County Democrats gathered at the new Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, 11655 Fishers Corner Blvd., Fishers, to watch the final night of the Democratic National Convention together. This moment officially kicked off Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign when she accepted her party’s nomination.
Hamilton County Democratic Party chairperson Jocelyn Vare said, “Local Democrats are growing the joy and hope of Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign into a powerful movement right here in Hamilton County. All of the Democratic candidates on Hamilton County ballots are welcoming new supporters, donors and volunteers who want to ‘Do Something,’ as Michelle Obama motivated us to do. All are welcome.”
