At the Hamilton County Artists’ Association, our members’ meetings take place the second Wednesday of the month.
For May, after discussion of business and upcoming events, members had a “Critique Night” where HCAA artists are encouraged to bring a piece they have been working on and have it critiqued by the rest of us. Of course, at HCAA we are all individual artists with own individual styles, but it’s always good to get some outside feedback and sometimes some fresh perspectives on our work.
In my own case, my own artwork has really blossomed. We are all professional artists here, but we are all evolving. We are constantly honing our skill levels and creativity levels to grow into the best artists we can be.
