Local artists donate to raise funds for Noblesville’s Forest Park Aquatic Center

A diverse group of artists have come together to raise funds for a Noblesville community asset, the Forest Park Aquatic Center.

A local non-profit group continues to oversee maintenance for the property. The outdoor Olympic-size facility is open to the public and is home to the Noblesville Swim Club, a diving program, an adult program, a water polo program and Learn-to-Swim lessons. It is host to meets and competitions, including a recent national diving event.

The pandemic caused the biggest fundraiser, The Brewfest, to be canceled this year. For the first time, an online art auction will be held Oct. 14-25 with generously donated pieces. Learn more on Facebook and Instagram.

A current high school swimmer, Jordan Cooley, designed the logo for the event, and two swim moms, Lesley Bain Haflich and Simona Buna, are professional artists.

Registration for bidders on CharityAuctionsToday will be announced via social media. Donations will be accepted on the auction site and sponsorships are available for this event.

If you are a professional or non-professional artist of any age and would like to donate, please contact Molli Cameron at onlineartauctionfpac@gmail.com or at (317) 753-2686. With ongoing support from the community, future generations will continue to develop experiences for a lifetime at Forest Park Aquatic Center.
