The Hamilton County Council on Alcohol and Other Drugs will hold a free Stop the Bleed training course next week.
You will learn to: assess various types of bleeding, provide direct pressure to a wound, assess the need for wound packing, apply a tourniquet the correct way, and manage other traumatic injuries.
The course will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31 at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center/Women’s Annex, 18106 Cumberland Road, Noblesville.
