The League of Women Voters of Indiana will present a three-part documentary series about redistricting reform and voter suppression in Indiana in January and February. The series, which is online and free to the public, also will feature Q&A sessions with panelists after each presentation.
Here’s the schedule:
- 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 28: “The Fight to Vote,” a documentary by Robert Greenwald. Panelists include Sarah Ferraro of the Calumet League of Women Voters and Olisa Humes, president of the NAACP in Columbus.
- 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 4: “UnCivil War: U.S. Elections Under Siege,” by Tom Glynn. Panelists include Sheila Kennedy, professor of law and policy at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI; Paul Helmke, former mayor of Fort Wayne, now director of Civic Leaders Center at Indiana University; and Peggy Welch, former state representative.
- 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 11: “Line in the Street,” by Robert and Rachel Millman. Panelists include Jesse Kharbanda of the Hoosier Environmental Council and Jennifer McCormick, former Indiana state superintendent of public instruction.
