Water Main project at 116th Street & Lantern Road
Citizens Water will be relocating a water main in 116th Street and along Lantern Road starting at 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 through 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13. During this time there will be a street closure in place:
- Westbound traffic will be directed north and south on Lantern Road.
- Eastbound traffic will be able to turn up Municipal Drive to North Street.
- Southbound Lantern Road will be closed between 116th Street and South Street between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. beginning on Monday, Jan. 13.

146th Street & Allisonville Road
Beginning on or after Thursday, Jan. 9, the contractor will implement a traffic phase shift for eastbound 146th Street. Traffic will be shifted to the south and will use the bridge carrying eastbound 146th Street over the White River. The contractor will use construction barrels to delineate the driving area from the construction zone.
Use extreme caution when driving in this area and watch for flaggers during the phase shift.
Follow the 35 mph posted speed limit when traveling through the work zone. Left turns are prohibited in all directions at the intersection. Please see the included intersection diagram here for the movements that are allowed. Periodic lane closures and intermittent stoppages may be necessary to complete certain work items. Please watch for flaggers and workers in and around the construction zone.
