106^th Street & Hazel Dell Parkway

One lane each direction on Hazel Dell Parkway is now closed as the construction of the roundabout at the intersection gets underway.

103^rd Street & College Avenue

A full closure is underway of North College Avenue directly south of East 103rd Street for utility work. East 103rd Street will remain open for east/west connectivity as well as to the north; however, trench excavation across College Avenue will prevent southbound traffic during the 10-day construction period.

Alternate routes include Pennsylvania Parkway, 96th Street, 106th Street, and U.S. 31.

News from INDOT

There will be bridge resurfacing work over U.S. 31 in the following locations:

• West Carmel Drive, from Illinois Street to Pennsylvania Parkway, will begin on or after Friday, June 21 and be completed Monday, July 8. Work will take place during the weekends only, from Fridays at 9 p.m. to Mondays at 6 a.m.
• West Main Street, from Illinois Street to Pennsylvania Parkway, will begin on or after Friday, July 12 and be completed by Monday, July 22. Work will take place during the weekends only, from Fridays at 9 p.m. to Mondays at 6 a.m.
• West 136th Street and Smoky Row, work will begin in August (schedule to come)

146^th Street & Hazel Dell Parkway intersection improvement
