Lane restrictions on I-465 & ramp closures on U.S. 31 for bridge repairs on Spring Mill Road

Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Beaty Construction, Inc. will conduct lane closures on Interstate 465 and U.S. 31 for bridge repairs.

On Friday, Sept. 20 at 8:30 p.m., crews will reduce I-465 westbound to two lanes, close the U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 westbound ramp and U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 westbound ramp. These restrictions and closures will end Saturday, Sept. 21 at 11:30 a.m., weather permitting.

On Saturday, Sept. 21 at 8:30 p.m., crews will reduce I-465 westbound to two lanes, close the U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 westbound ramp and U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 westbound ramp. These restrictions and closures will end at 5:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, weather permitting.

Between Monday, Sept. 23 and Friday, Sept. 27, crews will reduce I-465 westbound to two lanes, close the U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 westbound ramp and U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 westbound ramp. These will occur on weeknights from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following day.

On Friday, Sept. 27, at 8:30 p.m. crews will reduce I-465 westbound to two lanes, close the U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 westbound ramp and U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 westbound ramp. These restrictions and closures will end at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, weather permitting.

These lane and ramp closures will allow crews to safely complete bridge repairs on the Spring Mill Road overpass.

INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
