Lane closures on I-465, ramp closures on U.S. 31 for Spring Mill Road bridge repairs

Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Beaty Construction, Inc. plans for lane closures on Interstate 465 and U.S. 31 for bridge repairs.

Beginning on or after 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, crews will close the right two lanes of I-465 westbound, the U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 westbound ramp, and the U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 westbound ramp. This work is expected to be complete at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, weather permitting.

Beginning on or after 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, crews will close the right two lanes of I-465 westbound, the U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 westbound ramp, and the U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 westbound ramp. This work is expected to be complete at 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, weather permitting.

Beginning on or after 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, crews will close the right two lanes of I-465 westbound, the U.S. 31 southbound to I-465 westbound ramp, and the U.S. 31 northbound to I-465 westbound ramp. This week night work will be completed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning. This work is expected to be complete by Friday, Sept. 20, weather permitting.

These lane and ramp closures will allow crews to safely complete bridge repairs on the Spring Mill Road.

INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
