First Financial Bank welcomes Westfield resident Kirk Reis as the new commercial banking regional market president for Indianapolis and central Indiana, a role in which he will be responsible for growing First Financial’s relationships with commercial and industrial clients in the region, while overseeing the bank’s commercial team in the area.
“Kirk has been a commercial banker in the Indianapolis area for over 20 years and brings a proven track record of working with this community as a trusted advisor, so I’m excited about what’s to come with him joining our team,” said Matt Reckman, chief commercial banking officer for First Financial.
This marks Reis’s return to First Financial after he served four years with the bank earlier in his career. He brings a total of 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 20 at the vice president level. His focus has been on middle market companies and their unique needs and opportunities.
Reis leads a First Financial team providing a full range of banking solutions for business clients, with commercial credit and lending, treasury management, trade finance, risk management, and employee financial wellness programs. First Financial also has a broad suite of specialty services available for businesses and business owners, including equipment leasing and finance through Summit Funding Group, specialty financing through Oak Street Funding, wealth management through the Yellow Cardinal Advisory Group and capital markets expertise through Bannockburn Global Forex.
Reis earned his master’s degree in marketing from the University of Colorado Denver and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder. In the community, he coaches high school girls lacrosse and serves on the board of directors for the Downtown Westfield Association.
