Indiana Congressional candidate Kent Abernathy has called on his opponents to stop delaying and accept the forums and debates being organized by various organizations across the district.

“Debates and forums give Hoosiers a chance to hear from all of us and make their own decision on who they think is the best candidate to support the President’s agenda in November,” Abernathy said. “Today, I am challenging my fellow Republican candidates to stop hiding and accept these debates.”

The forums and debates that have been publicized for the GOP primary opponents thus far:

  • March 14 – Pints and Politics Candidate Forum (1)
  • March 16 – Town Hall
  • March 21 – Grant Co. Lincoln Day Dinner Debate
  • March 25 – Hamilton Co. Debate
  • March 28 – Pints and Politics Candidate Forum (2)
  • April 9 – Fishers GOP Candidate Forum
  • April 14 – Washington Pike Township Debate

“We need leaders in Washington willing to make the tough decisions to defend the constitution, to pay down our debt, to honor our veterans, and to support our military”, said Abernathy. “How can we trust someone to do that if they won’t even accept a debate or forum?”
