April is a significant month for Prevail and the communities we serve. It marks Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (April 6-12, 2025). We highlight the importance of supporting survivors, raising awareness, advocating for justice, and fostering prevention efforts.
Sexual violence affects people of all backgrounds, yet it is often shrouded in silence. This month, we focus on breaking that silence by educating our community, amplifying survivor voices, and engaging in crucial conversations about prevention and support for survivors on their healing journey.
During National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, we also recognize the progress made in advancing victims’ rights, while acknowledging the work still ahead. At Prevail, we advocate for policies and programs that empower victims, keeping their voices at the forefront of our work.
We invite you to join us in spreading awareness and taking action to support survivors. Thank you for standing with Prevail, your voice matters in this movement.
Together, Community Strengthens Survivors.
