Kathryn Mildred Dierdorf, 96, Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was born on August 18, 1928 to Ray and Catherine (Emmert) Bell in Brazil, Ind.
Mildred worked as a secretary/bookkeeper at Forest Hill and Hinkle Creek Elementary in Noblesville. She was a member of Tri Kappa and Noblesville First United Methodist Church. Mildred enjoyed gardening, reading, knitting, and cooking.
She is survived by her sons, John (Kelli) Dierdorf and Dan (Kenda) Dierdorf; daughter, Cathy (Mark) Wilkinson; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her brother, Warren J. (Sandy) Bell.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Dierdorf; brothers, Herman (Betty) Bell, John Ray (Erie) Bell Jr., William (Marty) Bell, and Ned (Shirley) Bell; and her sister, Mary Jane (Gene) Timberman.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services at 1 p.m., on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville. Bonnie Zickgraf will officiate. Mildred will be laid to rest next to John at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
