Kathryn Lee Miller, known affectionately to friends and family as Kathi, passed away at her residence in Atlanta on February 22, 2025.
Born on August 7, 1953, in Noblesville to Geraldine and the late Allen Keith Miller, Kathi served with distinction as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy. Upon retirement, Kathi enjoyed running half and full marathons, hiking, camping, and traveling.
Though never married, Kathi shared a deep bond with her partner, the late Sally Hopkins. Kathi is survived by her mother, Geraldine Miller, her sister, Robin (Charlie) Shires, and her brother, Scott Miller; seven nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; and her fur baby, Grable. Kathi’s generous spirit and courageous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PanCan, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or the Hamilton County Humane Society.
Kathi’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be no service. Friends wishing to convey sympathies may contact the family.
