Kate Kunk from CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions will be the guest speaker at the January meeting of Retirement Journey: Now What?
Kunk will discuss an emerging phenomenon in our society: “Grandparents Raising Grandchildren.”
Through a variety of circumstances, grandparents are finding themselves thrust into the position of raising another group of children: Their grandchildren. This presents a new set of challenges for all involved and leaves many looking for solutions to problems they never imagined to be facing.
The January meeting is set for 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in the North Meeting Room of the Noblesville Public Library, 1 Library Plaza.
Additionally, the group will share the process and results of the first ACT 3 Discovery Growth Group.
The organization invites are residents to join as the group continues to explore ways to assist retirees in finding their purpose and apply their skills and experience in meeting needs in Hamilton County.
